Toothless wonder!
13 06 2007And no, it’s not N!
A couple of weeks ago I had 5 teeth removed
Four wisdom teeth and one molar. It was a bit of a shock to the system having to get so many out, especially with my aversion to dentists… but then again, I’ve known since I was 13 that they’d have to come out, and it’s been "urgent" for a few years now and I’ve been putting it off.
There was some juggling with the kids - N had a week in afterschool care and LOVED it. He’s disappointed he’s not going back this week. And Z had a week in fulltime daycare - again, which he loved. This made me realise how much I love being a Business Mum and not having them in fulltime childcare - but that’s another post.
On Thursday I had a funny turn at school - I was really dizzy & not coping. At the time I thought it was just a side effect of the pain killers. I was taken to the sick bay to lie down and Z was taken to Ns classroom while we waited for my Dad to pick me up
Z was NOT happy to leave the classroom - he wanted to stay - and stomped out of the classroom with a raincloud over his head!
Last Friday I was back at the dental surgeon because I still had a lot of pain. Turns out I had an infection! This probably accounts for my dizzy spell on Thursday. I was on antibiotics all weekend, and am feeling a lot better.
I also took a week off work & had over 2000 e-mails waiting for me! But again, that’s another post.
I came to realise that daytime TV really is that bad, and that it sucks having a DVD player that isn’t working properly. I did get a few books read, and the Cello Lullaby CD my sister gave me when the kids were born got a work out helping me relax and sleep.
I’m so glad to be back at work and on the mend. I have a check up with the dental surgeon next week, and, as nice as he was, I hope I never have to go back! lol

Glad to see you on the mend Missie K!
