Tea - a Mum’s best friend
20 02 2007Really - it isn’t diamonds… I can’t live without my MUG of tea in the morning… Some mornings I need 2 to wake up properly!!! And no, I don’t drink coffee - I can’t stand the stuff. Though I do love the smell of fresh brewed coffee. And it has to be tea, milo just doesn’t have the same effect.
I got my MUG from Real Mums, and it is MINE! No one else uses it, just me. And it does get a work out :) For Christmas last year, I gave one with a bottle of brandy sauce to each of Ns kinder teachers, and to Zs daycare provider.
They are supersized, and I’m sure every Mum can understand the sentiment "I keep hitting escape, but I’m still here"
So everyone, it’s time to change the song… Sing with me - "Tea is a Mum’s best friend" - especially served in a Real Mums MUG!

I’m a tea fan too. I could nearly taste it as I read your post. I love my ‘morning cup of tea’ at about 10:30am. Most days Olivia is at school and Max is asleep so I can sit down with the cuppa and catch up on the Business Mums discussion threads.
As you know I right with you there…
I’m a beverage floozy, I love tea and coffee equally, and have been known to drink bucket loads of hot chocky in winter. A mug of tea or coffee is a great companion
OK, I’m a coffee drinker & I’m never really fully awake until I’ve had my morning dose. Oversized mugs are a ‘must have’ - love the sentiment that’s on your mug Melissa
I’m so glad I’m not alone in this
I’ve already had 2 super sized mugs of tea this morning!
I’m a coffee girl too, but I don’t just for the oversized mug - I tend to go for the whole darn pot. I put on a pot of coffee in the morning, and by 9, it tends to be gone. You gotta be addicted to something don’t you?
I am not much good until I have had a coffee in the morning, but I do love a good cup of tea during the day. At the moment because I am breastfeeding I try to restrict myself to only three cups of caffeinated drinks a day but it’s not easy.
